I've got a handful of new followers! So... yeah!

Hi, I'm MJ and I've been drawing for 15+ years. I like anime, cartoons and surrealism. I'm trying to get commissions off the ground but apparently commissions don't sell well if people don't know you're around. :: I'm trying to get more into art streaming and producing more work!

Tell me about you guys! What shows do you watch? What's your favorite color? Who's you're all time favorite character? What hobbies do you have? What's your favorite food?

I need to learn to be patient with myself. I need to learn to actively seek growth. I need to learn to learn again, and apply, and not be afraid of mistakes. I need to stop self-blaming. I need to work towards changing my life for the life I want to have it.

I can do it. I know I can. I know once I start work, I can keep going.

I just have to kill that doubt and self-criticism.

So here are some of my goals, in relation to art:

• Art streaming and recording. I will record everything I draw on the computer (and in real life once I get a stand of my own). I will edit every video, get some music, and upload once a month at the very least. I'll do live streams once a month so I can actually talk to you guys again and actually get to know you all again. I have a YoutTube and a Piczel account, I should use them.
• Start using my Patreon as it should be used. I've neglected it pretty heavily so far. I have plans. I have intention. I think it's all just too big right now. I should get back to basics. I should start small and contained.
• Art Station needs some updating too, but that needs to be more strictly "professional" work from me. More variety would be good. Comics, character sheets and concepts, landscapes, buildings, props...
• Twitter? ... I don't know. I'm still thinking of that. Maybe I'll use it as like. An updating/vent thing?
  
• Astoria. She needs cleaning up, polishing off. She needs a real chance. I need to give that to her. (I'm calling a group a Her. It's silly.) Time to look through Pintrest and help Kosu look for visual inspiration.
  
• Organize my goat dam folders. This will be the year, damn it! Start with year, month, commission/sketchbook/for fun-challenges, complete and incomplete (for commissions/challenges), lessons/observations/character-prop concepts (for sketchbook)... Further breakdown needed.
• Tumblr. I think I'll use that as like... I don't know. My tutorial gathering resource, my general art tossing pile and reblogging things that catch my attention in the real world.
• dA! I didn't forget you guys. I think this will be my ... Bi-weekly art dump? Maybe? If I can get myself to draw more than RP blog art, I'll put up things here either once or twice a week. I see interest in my Homestuck art is alive with my Meulin submissions, so I might start playing with some fanart/fanfic ideas I've been playing around with. I'll expand to other fandoms (Steven Universe and Undertale being a few that come to mind immediately) eventually. Send me shows and comics I should read, yeah?
• Self-care. I really need to do this. It's just. Yeah. I need to.
  
• Employment. I really need this, too, good merciful void.
• A new bed. I really need a new bed... I really WANT a Lull bed~
  

This week, up until my birthday, I'm going to set things up so that I can get this all rolling. Or. Do my best to.

Edit: We actually had a pretty busy stream this time!!! So, I'll make sure to log in on time next time and make it another public stream for you all to join!

So. I was planning to do a public stream today to see if any of you would like to have joined... But I slept in.

That aside, I'm pretty sure my brother is on the computer anyway up til about three, so I need to reword my streaming schedule around that or kick his butt off early.

I'll let you all know what's going on after I get myself up and ready to go. Stay tuned!
